Ian Prowse
Artiste honoré au patrimoine culturel de Liverpool, souvent comparé au légendaire Bruce Springsteen, Ian Prowse est un charismatique auteur, compositeur, chanteur & guitariste anglais qui a signé des tubes incontournables sur plusieurs majors « RaidThePalace », « Arm In Arm« , « Does This Train Stop on Merseyside » aussi bien sous son nom, qu’avec les groupes Pele, Amsterdam ou lors de collaborations avec Elvis Costello ou The Clash.
C’est en 2014, dans la ville des Fab Four que le French drummer Éric Thiévon et Ian Prowse se lient d’amitié et entament une collaboration artistique pour des concerts réguliers en France.
En 2024, ils revisitent la chanson « Battle » pour la chaine YouTube dans un duo acoustique.
En 2025, les deux musiciens enregistrent de nouveau à Liverpool deux compositions pour l’album « Mixer Of Influences ».
De ces collaborations se crée une formule acoustique complétée par la talentueuse violoniste et chanteuse, Nico River pour une revisite du répertoire du célèbre songwriter.
An honored artist in Liverpool’s cultural heritage, often compared to the legendary Bruce Springsteen, Ian Prowse is a charismatic author, composer, singer & guitarist from England who has signed essential hits on several major labels « RaidThePalace« , « Arm In Arm« , « Does This Train Stop on Merseyside » both under his own name, as well as with the bands Pele, Amsterdam or during collaborations with Elvis Costello or The Clash.
It was in 2014, in the city of the Fab Four that the French drummer Éric Thiévon and Ian Prowse became friends and began an artistic collaboration for regular concerts in France.
In 2024, they revisited the song « Battle » for the YouTube channel in an acoustic duet.
In 2025, the two musicians recorded two compositions again in Liverpool for the album « Mixer Of Influences« .
From these collaborations, an acoustic formula is created, completed by the talented violinist and singer, Nico River, for a revisit of the repertoire of the famous songwriter.
